Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop new business across the Mpumalanga mining sector and grow revenue within existing accounts
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with mining houses, contractors, and OEMs in the region
- Conduct regular on-site client visits across mine operations
- Prepare and follow up on quotations, negotiate, and close sales
- Manage vendor registrations, tender submissions, and supplier portal requirements with mining clients
- Coordinate orders, deliveries, and after-sales service to ensure client satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of calls, pipeline, and sales activity in the CRM
- Provide market intelligence on competitor activity and new opportunities in the territory
- Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets
Experience & Qualifications- Matric essential; relevant sales or technical qualification advantageous
- 3+ years' sales experience, with exposure to the mining or industrial sector preferred
- Existing network within Mpumalanga mining operations advantageous
- Experience with vendor registration, tender processes, or supplier portals (e.g. Ariba, Coupa) advantageous
- Proficient in MS Office; CRM experience advantageous
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Self-managed and disciplined, able to work independently in a field-based role
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
- Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport; willingness to travel extensively within the region
