Sales Representative – Mining Solutions (Mpumalanga) x2

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop new business across the Mpumalanga mining sector and grow revenue within existing accounts
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with mining houses, contractors, and OEMs in the region
  • Conduct regular on-site client visits across mine operations
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations, negotiate, and close sales
  • Manage vendor registrations, tender submissions, and supplier portal requirements with mining clients
  • Coordinate orders, deliveries, and after-sales service to ensure client satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate records of calls, pipeline, and sales activity in the CRM
  • Provide market intelligence on competitor activity and new opportunities in the territory
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets
Experience & Qualifications
  • Matric essential; relevant sales or technical qualification advantageous
  • 3+ years' sales experience, with exposure to the mining or industrial sector preferred
  • Existing network within Mpumalanga mining operations advantageous
  • Experience with vendor registration, tender processes, or supplier portals (e.g. Ariba, Coupa) advantageous
  • Proficient in MS Office; CRM experience advantageous
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-managed and disciplined, able to work independently in a field-based role
  • Fluent in Afrikaans and English
  • Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport; willingness to travel extensively within the region
