Duties & Responsibilities
- Act as daily liaison with the managed services provider: stand-ups, ticket flow, SLA follow-through, and clear comms during incidents
- Manage identity and collaboration across Microsoft 365 / Entra ID, including provisioning, access, MFA/Conditional Access, and sharing controls
- Administer Windows endpoints: baseline image, updates, compliance, encryption, and asset lifecycle
- Support networking and connectivity: firewalls, enterprise Wi-Fi, and VPN/remote access
- Handle telephony basics such as call flows, IVR, and ring groups
- Coordinate SaaS administration across core business tools
- Own the documentation cadence by keeping SOPs, diagrams, and runbooks current
Experience & Qualifications
- 3–5 years in a Systems Administrator or similar role
- Strong with Microsoft 365/Entra ID, Windows endpoint management, and networking fundamentals (DNS/DHCP/VPN)
- Comfortable coordinating with an MSP, managing PBX call flows, and administering SaaS tools
- PowerShell or scripting experience advantageous
- Exposure to Meraki/UniFi ecosystems and backup/recovery workflows advantageous
- A clear communicator who writes crisp SOPs and status updates
