Duties & Responsibilities
- Contract management (70%): assist the Contracts Engineer with contract-related tasks; draft layouts, P&IDs, and project drawings; manage smaller day-to-day tasks; collate and maintain project documentation and SOPs; collect and integrate site reports; compile final data packs; support quality control and logistics; collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Field service team support (15%): shadow service technicians to understand boilers, burners, and associated systems; maintain field-related documentation; support job-pack preparation; help coordinate scheduling and logistics; assist in monitoring service quality and safety compliance
- Administration and reporting (15%): support coordination across the engineering department; assist with finance, stores, and procurement; maintain administrative documentation; support project and departmental reporting, data entry, and analysis
Experience & Qualifications
- B.Sc. or B.Eng. in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering (advantageous), or B.Tech / N.Dip in the same fields
- Entry level — no prior work experience required, though 1–2 years in an engineering position is advantageous
- High proficiency in MS Office
- Familiarity with CAD/drawing software
- MS Projects experience advantageous
- Valid driver's licence and own transport required
