Job Summary:
We are seeking highly experienced and results-driven Warehouse Supervisors to oversee and manage operational activities in Ndola. The successful candidates will be responsible for supervising approximately 100 employees, ensuring efficient warehouse operations, cost control, inventory management, and compliance with company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operational activities and workforce management (approx. 100 employees)
- Manage warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods
- Ensure effective inventory control and stock accuracy
- Monitor and control operational costs to improve efficiency
- Supervise weighbridge operations and ensure accuracy in reporting
- Prepare operational reports and maintain proper documentation
- Enforce compliance with company policies, safety standards, and procedures
- Drive performance management and productivity improvements
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven experience in warehouse and operations management
- Strong knowledge of inventory systems and cost control
- Experience with weighbridge operations is an added advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
