Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee delivery vehicles and daily transport activities.
  • Plan and optimize efficient delivery routes.
  • Assign deliveries to drivers ensuring timely completion.
  • Monitor vehicle movements, mileage, fuel consumption, and general usage.
  • Arrange vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Ensure drivers comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, deliveries, fuel, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams to streamline operations.
  • Track deliveries and address any delays or missed deliveries promptly.
  • Prepare detailed vehicle and delivery reports for management review.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Transport Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is an advantage.
  • 2–3 years of experience in fleet management, transport coordination, logistics, or delivery operations.
  • Good knowledge of Lusaka and surrounding areas.
  • Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong planning, coordination, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver’s licence is an added advantage.
