SECURITY MANAGER

At the Savoy Hotel, we’re seeking an exceptional Security Manager to safeguard our guests, our teams, and our standards of excellence—day and night.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate a security team, ensuring smooth daily operations and confident coverage.

Manage surveillance CCTV and access control systems.

Respond swiftly to emergencies, maintaining calm, control, and safety.

Create and enforce safety rules and security procedures.

Work closely with HODs and local police to maintain a safe environment.

Manage team patrols and security rounds, identifying risks early.

Investigate incidents and support evidence-based follow-up.

Maintain incident reports, investigations records, and documentation.

Drive risk management initiatives and continuous improvement.

Train and mentor staff on safety protocols, security awareness, and emergency response.

Qualifications (Required)

Proven experience in hotel security, private security, or related roles

Strong knowledge of CCTV monitoring, access control, and security operations

Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage shift coverage

Competent in incident investigation, reporting, and documentation

Solid understanding of risk management and safety procedures

Ability to communicate professionally and coordinate with management and authorities

Valid security certification/license (where applicable in your location)

Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, nights, and weekends

Qualifications (Preferred)

Training/experience in emergency response and first aid (where available)

Background in security management, law enforcement, or corrections (if applicable)

Experience coordinating with police and local authorities

Strong computer skills for reporting and documentation
