Resident Medical Officer

C-Care Hospitals & Clinics is currently looking for Resident Medical Officers to join our team in-patient services & outpatient services department 

Location: C-Care Darné (Floreal) & Tamarin / C-Care Wellkin & Grand Baie  

Resident Medical Officer 

Reporting to the Head of Medical Services, the selected candidate will play a vital role in the day-to-day care of patients, and provide excellent patient care, assisting treating doctors, and working closely with the medical team.

What will you be doing?

• Provide high-quality medical care to in-patients, ensuring their well-being and comfort throughout their stay.
• Collaborate with and assist treating doctors during daily rounds and medical procedures, including surgeries, as required.
• Regularly assess patient progress, maintain up-to-date medical records, and report on patient conditions to the relevant physicians.
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals and assist in training to ensure a holistic approach to patient treatment, ensuring comprehensive and coordinated care.
• Be available to provide emergency medical care when required, ensuring prompt intervention and decision-making.

What are we looking for?

• MBBS or equivalent from any recognized University and the Mauritius Medical Council.  
• Registration Medical Council of Mauritius, ATLS/ACLS.  
• Pre-registered candidates can be considered.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Previous experience will be an advantage.
