Biomedical Trainee

Reporting to the Head of Biomedical Engineering and Radiology, the selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:

What you will be doing:

• Perform preventive maintenance on medical equipment
• Conduct electrical safety testing and equipment calibration
• Troubleshoot and repair basic medical devices
• Respond to user support requests and resolve equipment issues
• Inspect, test, and register new medical equipment
• Record maintenance activities in the CMMS
• Monitor spare parts and equipment inventory
• Assist external service engineers during equipment servicing
• Support medical equipment recall activities

What are we looking for?

• Diploma or Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of medical equipment maintenance
• Good troubleshooting and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills
• Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage
