Reports To: Shift Boss / Mine Captain
To safely and efficiently operate underground load-haul-dump (LHD) equipment to load, haul and discharge ore and waste material in accordance with mine production plans, operating procedures and safety standards.
· Operate underground (Shandong Shili/TYMG Underground Mining Dump Truck) LHD/loader equipment safely and efficiently.
· Load and transport ore and waste material to designated locations.
· Conduct pre-start inspections and report equipment defects.
· Operate equipment within designated underground areas and according to instructions.
· Maintain accurate production and equipment operating records.
· Monitor equipment performance and report mechanical abnormalities.
· Maintain good housekeeping around working areas.
· Comply with ground control, ventilation and other underground safety requirements.
· Attend toolbox meetings and participate in safety programmes.
· Properly use and maintain all required PPE.
· Immediately report unsafe conditions, incidents and equipment defects.
· Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
· Grade 12 School Certificate.
· Valid Heavy Equipment / LHD Operator Certificate or relevant mining equipment operating qualification.
· Minimum 2 years' experience operating underground LHD/loader equipment.
· Previous experience in an underground hard-rock mining environment is highly advantageous.
· Good knowledge of underground mining safety procedures.
· Physically fit and able to work underground on a shift basis.

To safely operate underground dump trucks for the transportation of ore and waste material from designated loading points to ore passes, tipping points, stockpiles or other designated locations.
· Operate underground dump trucks safely and efficiently.
· Conduct daily pre-start inspections before operating equipment.
· Transport ore and waste according to the mine's production plan.
· Maintain safe operating speeds and comply with underground traffic rules.
· Follow designated underground routes and dumping procedures.
· Monitor vehicle condition and immediately report defects.
· Maintain accurate production and operating records.
· Ensure loads are transported and discharged safely.
· Maintain good housekeeping around operating areas.
· Participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings.
· Comply with mine ventilation, ground control and emergency procedures.
· Wear all prescribed PPE.
· Report accidents, near misses and unsafe working conditions.
· Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
· Grade 12 School Certificate.
· Valid Heavy Vehicle / Dump Truck Operator Certificate or relevant qualification.
· Valid driver's licence appropriate for the equipment where applicable.
· Minimum 2 years' experience operating underground dump trucks.
· Previous underground hard-rock mining experience is an advantage.
· Good understanding of underground traffic management and mine safety procedures.
· Physically fit and able to work underground on a shift basis.

Department: Engineering / Electrical Maintenance
Location: Chibuluma Mine, Lufwanyama, Copperbelt Province

Reports To: Electrical Supervisor / Engineering Manager
To install, maintain, inspect, troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and systems in underground mining operations, ensuring maximum equipment availability and compliance with electrical safety standards.
· Install, maintain and repair underground electrical equipment and systems.
· Carry out preventive and corrective electrical maintenance.
· Diagnose electrical faults and undertake repairs.
· Maintain underground power distribution systems.
· Inspect electrical installations and identify potential hazards.
· Conduct testing and isolation of electrical equipment in accordance with approved procedures.
· Maintain electrical equipment, cables, switchgear, motors and related installations.
· Ensure electrical work is conducted in accordance with approved mine procedures.
· Complete maintenance records and report equipment defects.
· Participate in planned maintenance shutdowns.
· Assist with emergency electrical breakdowns.
· Maintain good housekeeping in electrical work areas.
· Comply with Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) and electrical isolation procedures.
· Participate in toolbox meetings and safety programmes.
· Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
· Grade 12 School Certificate.
· Craft Certificate/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
· Valid electrical trade qualification.
· Relevant professional registration/certification where applicable.
· Minimum 3 years' experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in an underground mining environment.
· Strong knowledge of industrial/underground electrical systems.
· Knowledge of mine electrical safety and isolation procedures.
· Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
· Physically fit and able to work underground and on a shift basis.
