Independent Individual Consultant (Data Analyst) Opportunity in Mansa Luapula Water Supply and Sanitation Company Limited (LpWSC) invites qualified and experienced professionals to apply for the position of Independent Individual Consultant (Data Analyst) based in Mansa, Luapula Province, Zambia.

This role presents a unique opportunity for individuals seeking data analyst jobs in Mansa to contribute to enhancing the accuracy and reliability of customer data within the water utility sector. About the Role – Data Analyst Jobs in Mansa Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, the successful candidate will lead a critical database clean-up initiative.

This consultancy role involves verifying, updating, validating, and cleansing customer information within the billing database. The objective is to establish a dependable customer information management system that supports authentic billing and revenue tracking.

Key Responsibilities Identify and eliminate duplicate customer records to improve data integrity. Remove redundant and outdated records from the billing database.

Correct inaccuracies in customer details ensuring data accuracy. Validate billing classifications to align with company standards.

Verify account debt balances and current account statuses. Confirm inactive and disconnected customer accounts.

Consolidate customer information for streamlined data management. Prepare detailed exception reports and recommend appropriate remedial actions.

Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Project Manager in line with the Terms of Reference. Qualifications and Experience Full Grade 12 Certificate with at least five O'Level credits, including English and Mathematics.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or an equivalent qualification; an MBA is advantageous. Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in a similar data analyst role.

Membership in a recognized professional body related to the field. All qualifications must be verified by the Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA).

Skills and Competencies Proven experience leading data clean-up projects, preferably within Water Utility Companies. Strong understanding of customer accounts, meter numbers, and GIS coordinates.

Ability to identify and assess error rates, missing values, and other data anomalies. Proficient computer skills with strong analytical and business acumen.

Demonstrated honesty, reliability, and high integrity in professional conduct.
