We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Field Operations Officer to support our copper ore sourcing and field operations in Solwezi.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and engage artisanal copper ore suppliers
Build relationships with mining cooperatives and local stakeholders
Coordinate transport and logistics activities
Conduct site visits and assist with sampling processes
Maintain supplier and operational records
Support day-to-day field operations and reporting
Experience Required:
Experience in mining, commodity trading, logistics, or field operations is preferred
Experience working with artisanal miners or mining cooperatives is an added advantage
Understanding of copper ore sourcing, sampling, and site operations is beneficial
Experience in transport coordination and supplier relationship management is preferred
Must be comfortable working in field environments and travelling to mining sites
Strong communication, reporting, and organisational skills required
Knowledge of Solwezi and surrounding mining areas is an advantage
Requirements:
Based in Solwezi or willing to relocate
Strong communication and relationship management skills
Honest, organised, and proactive
Able to work independently and handle field assignments responsibly
