Terrace Africa, a property development company with operations across Africa, is offering an exciting internship
opportunity for a driven graduate to join our Harare team and support our Environmental, Social & Governance
(ESG) initiatives.
This internship offers hands-on exposure to how ESG principles are embedded into real estate development,
property management, and corporate operations across the African continent.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
• Assisting with data collection and reporting for ESG metrics across development projects
• Supporting environmental compliance tracking (energy use, waste, water, emissions) on active sites
• Helping monitor social impact initiatives, including community engagement and local employment practices
• Assisting with governance documentation, policy reviews and compliance checklists
• Supporting the preparation of ESG sections for management and investor reporting packs
• Conducting research on ESG best practices, regulatory developments and industry benchmarks relevant to
Zimbabwean and regional property markets
• Assisting with stakeholder engagement activities and site visits as required
• General administrative support to the ESG/Sustainability function

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• Recent graduate (or final-year student) in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, Real Estate, or a
related field
• Genuine interest in sustainability, responsible development and corporate governance
• Strong research, analytical and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
• Detail-oriented with an ability to manage multiple tasks
• Self-starter, keen to learn in a fast-paced property development environment
• No prior work experience required — this is an entry-level opportunity
