Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and management reports.
  • Conduct internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of financial controls, operational processes, and compliance procedures.
  • Monitor compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory regulations.
  • Identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions to strengthen internal control systems.
  • Support external auditors during statutory and regulatory audits by providing required documentation and information.
  • Review accounting transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with financial policies.
  • Perform account reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and resolve financial issues promptly.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Prepare audit findings, reports, and recommendations for management.
  • Support the implementation of process improvement initiatives to enhance financial efficiency and accountability.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA, ICA Ghana, CIMA, or part qualification is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, internal audit, or external audit.
  • Experience in the FMCG, manufacturing, agribusiness, or multinational sector is an added advantage.
  • Sound knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and auditing principles.


Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal control frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional ethics.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics is an advantage.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
