Background

Sheba Clinic is assembling its team ahead of the opening of a new healthcare facility in Lusaka and is seeking qualified and dedicated professionals to join the team.

Responsibilities

Clinical Assessment: Conduct patient consultations, take medical histories, perform physical examinations, and diagnose common medical conditions .

Treatment & Management: Initiate treatment plans, prescribe medications, and manage patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings .

Emergency Care: Provide emergency care, stabilization, and initial management of urgent cases .

Minor Procedures: Perform minor surgical and medical procedures as per training and scope of practice .

Referral: Identify and refer patients with complex conditions to Medical Officers or specialists .

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including clinical notes, treatment provided, and follow-up plans .

Health Education: Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment adherence, and healthy lifestyles .

Collaboration: Work collaboratively with Medical Officers, Nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care .
