- As we continue to expand our footprint, we are seeking a Assistant Marketing Manager to help drive our brand forward. This is a high-impact role requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on execution to enhance MFI’s market presence and customer engagement across multiple regions.
Role Overview
- The Assistant Marketing Manager will play a key role in developing and executing marketing strategies that build brand awareness, drive engagement, and generate business growth. This position requires a proactive, results-driven professional who is comfortable managing end-to-end marketing initiatives, from content creation and digital marketing to event management and partner collaboration.
- This role is ideal for someone who has a learning mindset and thrives in a fast-paced, multi- country environment, understands the nuances of B2B marketing, and is eager to make a tangible impact.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy, Brand Development and Management
- Support the development and execution of marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing and communication touchpoints.
- Maintain the brand look and feel for quality and consistency for all physical assets.
- Work closely with country teams to adapt and localize marketing initiatives for diverse markets across Africa.
Content Development & Digital Marketing
- Get involved in management of content creation for physical and digital brand assets.
- Execute video marketing initiatives, including client testimonials, case studies, and product education content.
Event Management & Partner Engagement
- Plan, coordinate, and execute corporate and partner events and exhibitions, ensuring impactful brand representation.
- Oversee and execute all event logistics, including invitations, setup and branding, and post-event communications.
Communications & Public Relations
- Act as a key liaison between internal teams, external stakeholders, and media partners.
- Manage development of internal marketing communications, including newsletters and key business updates.
- Support PR initiatives and corporate storytelling to enhance MFI’s industry presence.
Market Research & Performance Analytics
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Track and report on key marketing performance metrics to optimize campaigns and enhance ROI.
- Provide strategic recommendations based on data-driven insights
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of marketing experience, preferably in a B2B or technology-driven industry.
- Proven expertise in digital marketing, content creation, and event management.
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working across multi-country markets in Africa is an advantage.
Preferred Skills & Competencies
- Strategic yet hands-on and able to execute marketing initiatives with precision in a timely manner.
- Strong storytelling skills, with a knack for creating compelling content.
- Excellent understanding of digital marketing trends, analytics, and automation tools.
- Experience in marketing operations, video marketing and brand storytelling.
- French language skills (a plus, considering North & West Africa engagement).
