WE ARE LOOKING TO FILE THE FOLLOWING VACANCIES TO JOIN OUR PRODUCTIVE TEAM OF SKILLED PERSONNEL.
Tipper Drivers – 7 Responsibilities (x 5 positions)
- Safely operate heavy-duty tipper trucks to transport construction materials such as sand, gravel, earth, and quarry products to and from designated sites.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, checking tire pressure, fluid levels, brakes, lights, and hydraulic systems to ensure roadworthiness.
- Load and unload materials using the tipper's hydraulic lifting mechanism, ensuring even weight distribution and securing loads to prevent spillage.
- Adhere to all traffic regulations, company safety policies, and site-specific rules, including speed limits and designated haulage routes.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, including trip records, fuel consumption, material quantities delivered, and vehicle maintenance reports.
- Perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance of the vehicle, including greasing, filter changes, and reporting mechanical faults to supervisors promptly.
- Coordinate with site supervisors and loaders to ensure timely delivery schedules and efficient material handling at construction or mining sites.
