About the Technical Trainee Packaging Role The Technical Trainee programme at AB InBev Africa is an 18-month structured development initiative focused on equipping graduates with the technical expertise and practical knowledge required to excel in packaging operations.

This programme immerses trainees in the company’s culture and guiding principles, preparing them to take on real responsibilities and make an immediate impact in the packaging department. Key Responsibilities for Technical Trainee Packaging Jobs in Lusaka Gain comprehensive understanding of the theory, principles, and operation of packaging equipment throughout the Packaging Hall.

Participate actively in packaging projects aligned with programme objectives and brewery priorities. Apply VPO (Supply Excellence) principles to improve operational efficiency.

Diagnose systemic and situational problems and perform troubleshooting. Engage in packaging team structures, including stepping into acting leadership roles as needed.

Communicate learnings and solutions effectively across multiple business levels. Candidate Requirements Bachelor of Science (BSc), Bachelor of Technology (BTech), or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Production Management disciplines.

0 to 2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or packaging environments. Legal authorization to work in Zambia (full citizenship required).
