The Technical Representative is
responsible for supporting agricultural research and experimentation activities
while promoting the effective use of our suppliers solutions with customers and
distributors. The role combines field-based research, technical monitoring,
data analysis, and customer support to contribute to the development and
adoption of innovative agricultural practices and products.
KEY DUTIES &
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the planning, design, and
implementation of agricultural trials and experiments.
- Participate in the establishment, monitoring, and
evaluation of field trials involving tropical crops, including sugarcane,
banana, vegetables, and fruit trees.
- Support experimental activities related to
livestock production, including cattle, goats, and poultry.
- Collect, record, and maintain accurate
experimental data in accordance with established protocols.
- Assist in the statistical analysis,
interpretation, and presentation of research findings.
- Prepare technical reports and contribute to the
documentation of research projects.
- Work closely with the research team to ensure the
successful execution of trials and projects.
- Support the dissemination of research results
through digital marketing and communication platforms.
- Promote the proper use and technical benefits of
our suppliers products and solutions to customers, farmers, and
distributors.
- Conduct and coordinate soil sampling and soil
analyses.
- Perform chlorophyll fluorescence measurements to
monitor crop performance and provide technical recommendations.
- Carry out pH and Electrical Conductivity (EC)
measurements as part of technical crop monitoring programs.
- Provide technical guidance and follow-up to
customers to optimize crop performance and product effectiveness.
- Centralize and maintain technical field data to
support customer recommendations and business development activities.
- Participate in field demonstrations, technical
meetings, training sessions, and customer visits.
QUALIFICATIONS,
SKILLS, AND OTHER PREREQUISITES
- Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Crop
Science, Animal Science, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience in agricultural research,
field experimentation, technical advisory services, or agribusiness would
be an advantage
- Knowledge of tropical crop production systems and
livestock management practices.
- Familiarity with soil analysis, crop monitoring
techniques, and agricultural data collection methods.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and report
writing is desirable.
- Resilient and persistent

- Being a Self-starter and self-motivated is
critical
- Valid driving licence and willingness to travel
