About PHOEBE Centre Zimbabwe

PHOEBE (Promotion of Health, Opportunity, Equality, Benevolence and Empowerment) is a women and youth-led organisation supporting gender justice, mental health, and economic empowerment.

We provide practical, community-based solutions that promote wellbeing, safety, and personal development. Our work focuses on mental health support, challenging gender-based violence, and empowering women and girls to lead safe, fulfilled lives.

Through sustainable livelihoods, gender justice, and survivor-centred programmes, PHOEBE strengthens communities in both rural and urban areas. At our women’s shelter in Goromonzi, we run small-scale farming projects to strengthen food security and provide livelihood skills to survivors.

We are looking for student on attachment studying towards the following degrees:
Social work
Psychology
Agriculture and environment
Conditions
Location: Goromonzi
Allowance will be provided to students.
Free accommodation will be provided, however students are to bring their own bedding and food.
