Stock Controller Jobs in Kabwe – Reload Logistics Hail and Cotton Zambia Limited is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stock Controller to join the Reload Logistics team in Kabwe, Central Province. This full-time position plays a crucial role in managing tobacco stock by overseeing receipt, storage, movement, and reconciliation processes.

Monitor tobacco stock levels to maintain precise inventory records. Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile these with system data.
Investigate and report any discrepancies, shortages, or damages in tobacco stock. Prepare daily inventory reports for management review.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for all tobacco stock transactions, both incoming and outgoing. Support internal and external inventory audits.
Collaborate effectively with warehouse, procurement, operations, logistics, quality, finance, and collateral teams to ensure robust stock control. Authorize and document all stock movements, ensuring accurate recording in inventory systems.
Monitor stock condition, including packaging integrity, moisture levels, infestation and contamination risks, and warehouse cleanliness. Ensure traceability of tobacco stock throughout receipt, storage, processing, transfer, and dispatch stages.
Qualifications and Experience Required Minimum of three years’ experience in tobacco stock control, inventory management, or warehouse operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
Full Grade 12 Certificate with credits or higher. Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration, Accounting, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, or related disciplines.
Professional memberships or qualifications in relevant fields are advantageous. Skills and Competencies Strong inventory control and tobacco stock management capabilities.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills. Experience with Inventory, ERP, or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Effective organizational and time management skills.
Proven problem-solving abilities. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Capacity to perform under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
High integrity and accountability in all tasks. Working Conditions The role is based at the Kabwe Warehouse with occasional overtime required during stock-taking periods or peak operational times.
