Stock Controller

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Certificate or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehouse Management, or a related field will be advantageous.
• Previous experience working with SAPS or within a SAPS logistics/stores environment.
• Minimum of 2–5 years' experience in stock control, warehouse, or inventory management.  
• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience using inventory or ERP systems.
• Knowledge of stock control principles and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record all incoming stock.
• Ensure stock is stored correctly and safely according to company procedures.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock movements in the inventory management system.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts and reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies promptly.
• Monitor stock levels and notify management of low-stock or overstock situations.
• Prepare stock reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Coordinate stock transfers between warehouse locations where required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Assist with internal and external stock audits.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards within the warehouse.
