Key Responsibilities

  • Set up facilities for the new site as required by the customers, including but not limited to maintenance workshop, warehousing, office space, IT and Communicatios, and others
  • Recruitment, management and development of all site personnel
  • Facilitate training of customers operators and technicians
  • Manage commissioning of all new equipment delivered to site
  • Liaise with Project Manager regarding scheduling of machine deliveries per the customer requirement
  • Ensure spares and parts availability for equipment, including drilling consumables
  • Set safety standards in line with Epiroc Global Sustainability Policy and requirements
  • Establish profitable service agreements with customers, including technical support
  • Responsible for communications with customers on site
  • Assess customer needs and liaise with sales team to ensure solutions are provided, e.g. technology
  • Ensure that deliverables are met as per SLA's with customers, showing an improvement in customer satisfaction year on year
  • Management of working capital with specific focus on inventory and receivables (aging stock and overdue receivables)

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience in Project Management
  • Experience in OEM Equipment4years + Sales Experience on Epiroc Mining Solutions
  • Exposure to mining environment
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong knowledge of Epiroc equipment and digital infrastructure
  • Good communication skills internally and externally and willing to develop strong relations with different stakeholders
  • Strong Customer Care focus with strong desire to deliver best practice solutions for our customers
  • Interpersonal skills
  • A highly motivated, enthusiastic and results driven individual
  • Takes ownership of work and ensures deadlines are met.
  • Capable of thinking outside the box for solutions when faced with challenges
  • Computer Literate
