Senior Security Technician

About the Role
Are you a highly skilled technical professional with a passion for cutting-edge security technology? Real Star Security is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Technician to join our team in Harare. In this role, you will be the technical backbone of our operations—responsible for installing, maintaining, and diagnosing complex security systems while leading on-site teams to deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation & Integration: Deploy, configure and commission advanced security solutions including wired/wireless alarms, IP CCTV networks, access control and electric fencing.
• Maintenance & Diagnostics: Conduct routine servicing and rapidly troubleshoot complex technical faults to ensure maximum system uptime.
• Technical Leadership: Supervise, mentor and guide junior technicians on-site to maintain high installation standards.
• Client Relations: Provide professional, top-tier customer service and technical support to clients in diverse environments.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in a similar Senior Technician role within the security industry.
• Proven Technical Expertise: Strong troubleshooting and repair skills across security infrastructure and IP networking.
• Core Fundamentals: Solid understanding of electronic circuitry, structural wiring, and modern system installation methodologies.
• Leadership Qualities: Demonstrated experience leading technical teams and managing on-site projects.
• Industry Credentials: Relevant certifications or professional licenses in security system installation and maintenance.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills with a strong, customer-first mindset.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work on-site in Harare and adapt easily to varying client sites.
