Brooke Consultancy Limited is recruiting on behalf of a reputable client in the mining sector. Applications are invited from suitably qualified, experienced and motivated candidates for the following positions:

Safety Officer

• Responsible for promoting and enforcing workplace health and safety standards.
• Conduct safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
• Support compliance with mining safety procedures and regulations.
• Good knowledge of occupational health and safety practices.

Minimum Requirements

• Relevant trade certificate or qualification for the position applied for.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Membership with relevant professional bodies will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a demanding mining environment.
• Must be self-motivated, disciplined and safety-conscious.
