Safety Officer

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Diploma/Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a Safety Officer or similar role
• Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations and standards
• Good communication, reporting, and risk assessment skills
• Ability to work independently, conduct inspections, and promote a strong safety culture

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular workplace inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits
• Identify hazards and implement appropriate corrective and preventive measures
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and prepare reports
