About the Revenue Officer Positions As a Revenue Officer at ZAMPOST, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate collection and management of revenue streams from postal services, digital payments, agency services, and other income sources.

These positions are graded ZPSC7 and require dedication to financial integrity and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities for Revenue Officer Jobs in Livingstone and Mongu Ensure timely and precise collection of revenue across multiple channels including postal and digital services.

Record, verify, and reconcile revenue transactions, cash receipts, and deposits on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies related to revenue collection.

Provide clients with guidance on billing, payment procedures, and revenue collection processes. Collaborate with the Debt Management Officer to follow up on overdue payments.

Prepare comprehensive revenue reports to facilitate forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting. Support internal and external audit processes to ensure compliance and transparency.

Adhere to financial policies, internal controls, and statutory requirements rigorously. Contribute to the digitalisation and automation initiatives of revenue collection systems.

Candidate Requirements Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline; a Bachelor’s Degree is advantageous. At least 2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles.

Partial professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, ZICA, or CIMA. Must be a registered member of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA).

Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial data handling.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills. High levels of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
