Description:Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for an experienced Resident Engineer to join their mining company based in the Northern Cape.
Responsibilities:- Manage the maintenance and repair activities of plant equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize plant performance and meet production targets.
- Implement and monitor maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety.
- Provide technical support and guidance to plant personnel.
- Monitor and control maintenance expenses within budgetary limits
Requirements:- Grade 12
- GCC Mines & Works
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- 5 years' experience as a GCC Engineer within the mining industry (POST TRADE)
- Experience in Iron Ore, Manganese or Diamond commodities
- Extensive Crushing and Screening experience
- Valid Driver's License
