Role Overview:

• Reliability Engineer Jobs in Solwezi As a Reliability Engineer TSF, you will lead efforts to enhance the reliability and performance of Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) assets.
• Your role will span developing reliability strategies, conducting detailed failure analyses, optimizing maintenance programs, and supporting asset health monitoring initiatives.
• You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations.
• Key Responsibilities Develop and refine reliability strategies and maintenance plans for TSF assets.
• Facilitate Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) studies and conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA/FMECA).
• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations and implement defect elimination programs.
• Monitor equipment health using predictive maintenance technologies such as vibration analysis, oil analysis, thermography, ultrasonic testing, and non-destructive testing (NDT).
• Optimize preventive maintenance intervals and review maintenance procedures for effectiveness and cost efficiency.
• Develop and maintain equipment criticality assessments and long-term asset management plans.
• Prepare and maintain reliability reports and dashboards using Power BI and other analytical tools.
• Support risk assessments and ensure compliance with company standards, GISTM, dam safety, environmental regulations, and asset management standards.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives and promote a culture of reliability across TSF operations.
• Required Experience and Competencies Minimum of 5 years in Reliability Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, or Asset Management within mining, mineral processing, or heavy industry sectors.
• Proven experience with RCM, RCA, FMEA/FMECA, asset criticality assessments, and predictive maintenance technologies.
• Familiarity with fixed plant assets, infrastructure, and TSF or water dam systems is advantageous.
• Proficiency in CMMS/ERP systems such as Pronto or SAP, and strong skills in Power BI, Excel, and data analytics.
• Experience with asset health monitoring platforms, SCADA, PI Systems, and related databases.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Demonstrated leadership in reliability improvement initiatives and ability to influence teams without direct authority.
• Qualifications Full Grade 12 Certificate.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or related fields.
• Registration as an Engineer or Engineering Technologist is an advantage.
• Certifications in Reliability Engineering, Maintenance Management, Asset Management, or CMRP are desirable.
• Training in RCA, FMEA, RCM, and condition monitoring technologies is beneficial.
