Job Description:
- Produce accurate reinforced concrete rebar layouts and reinforcement schedules
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D reinforcement models using Revit, AutoCAD, and specialized rebar detailing software
- Generate precise material take-offs and reinforcing steel quantity calculations
- Review and verify reinforcement schedules and layouts to ensure accuracy, compliance, and constructability
- Collaborate closely with structural engineers, designers, and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage multiple project deliverables while maintaining high standards of quality and meeting project deadlines
- Ensure compliance with quality management systems, project procedures, and industry standards
Skills & Experience: - Minimum of 2 years’ experience in rebar detailing or structural draughting
- Proven proficiency in Probar and Padds scheduling software
- Strong working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD
- Familiarity with SANS 282 rebar scheduling requirements
- Understanding of ISO 9001 quality management principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Qualification:- Grade 12 / Matric (essential)
- Relevant qualification, training, or certification in Draughting, Structural Detailing
- Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport will be beneficial
