Production Supervisor

PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR
A leading manufacturing company in the FMCG sector is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of a Production Supervisor.
Reporting to: Production Manager

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
A Degree in Food Science and Technology, or equivalent.
At least 2 years’ relevant work experience in an FMCG setup.
Training in ISO Certifications is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
Monitoring the production process to ensure that it runs smoothly and efficiently through reviewing production data, inspect products, observe workers, and troubleshoot problems in the production process.
Ensuring the daily shift plan is timeously implemented, on condition of plant availability, raw material availability and manpower placement and availability.
Conducting investigations in terms of quality and incidents and suggests corrective actions.
Monitoring plant and maximizing on overall equipment efficiency.
Initiating and suggesting plans to motivate subordinates to achieve production targets.

Troubleshooting quality issues in the production process to ensure it runs smoothly and efficiently.
Ensuring that the products being produced meet the required quality standards by implementing quality control procedures.
Recommending measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality product.
Recording parameters to improve on the output, reduction on waste and improvement on product quality through continuous monitoring of the process.

Skills:
Good communication skills (Both written and oral).
Excellent report writing skills.
