JOB TITLE: PROCUREMENT MANAGER
REPORTS TO: CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
LOCATION: HARARE
JOB PURPOSE:
To manage the procurement of goods and services for the Commission
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Advise the Accounting Officer on all procurement related technical issues.
Manage the Procurement Management Unit.
Oversee the development and implementation of the Commission’s procurement plan.
Manage the Tendering process.
Coordinate the process of preparing procurement contracts.
Cultivate the Commission’s relationships with the suppliers.
Maintain records on all procurement proceedings and related matters
Coordinate preparation of reports for the Unit.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management and Procurement or equivalent
A relevant Master’s degree is an added advantage
Minimum of 6 years working experience
CRITICAL OR TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
Problem-solving skills
High accuracy level
Integrity and Ethical behaviour
Communication skills
Good understanding of the PPDA Act
Basic Computer skills
A clean class four (4) driver’s license
Conversant with EGPS and SAP
