PACKAGING SUPERVISOR
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the above post, which has arisen in the Packaging Department at Lobel’s Bread (Private) Limited.

THE JOB
Based in Harare and reporting to the Packaging Controller, the successful applicant will among other aspects be responsible for:
Ensuring stock count of all products is done accurately at every shift changeover.
Ensuring slicing throughput is achieved.
Ensuring all products are date and machine coded.
Ensuring printer consumables are readily available.
Slicing products that meet the set standards.
Ensuring effective waste management and continuous waste reduction within the slicing department.
Ensuring all employees entering the factory put on recommended PPE.
Reporting breakdowns to the Engineering department.
Allocating duties that give positive results while avoiding idle time and expediting the transfer of bread from Production and Dispatch respectively.

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
The ideal applicant should possess the following minimum qualifications and attributes:
Diploma in Food Science/Food Technology, Business Management or related field.
At least 1-year relevant experience.
Good communication skills.
Good leadership skills.
