We’re looking for talented professionals to join our team in Lusaka for the following positions:

NUTRITIONIST / DIETICIAN

Location: Lusaka, Zambia

Minimum Qualification:

Bachelor of Science Degree in Food and Nutrition, current registration with HPCZ

Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in a Hospital or related Health Care facility

Knowledge of healthcare regulations, policies and procedures, excellent in communication, organizational and leadership skills.

Able to work independently.

Requirements/Instructions:

• Evaluates and assesses nutrition status of patients, and screens patients for nutritional risk in accordance with established department protocols and standards.
• Plans and initiates medical nutrition therapy to patients if indicated by patient requirements and clinical protocol.
• Educates and counsels patients and families on nutritional issues, either individually or in groups.

Responsibilities
