Position Overview – MMU Operator Jobs in Chililabombwe As an MMU Operator at Falane Solutions Limited, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Mobile Manufacturing Units (MMUs) used in the delivery and charging of bulk explosives.

This role demands precision, adherence to safety protocols, and collaboration with blasting and mining teams to meet operational goals. Key Responsibilities Operate Mobile Manufacturing Units safely for bulk explosive delivery and charging activities.

Perform daily pre-start inspections and promptly report any equipment defects. Assist with the loading, transportation, and delivery of raw materials and explosive products.

Maintain accurate records of production, charging, and MMU operational data. Ensure equipment cleanliness and carry out basic operator-level maintenance tasks.

Comply strictly with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), mining regulations, and SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) standards. Report incidents, near misses, unsafe conditions, and equipment faults immediately.

Collaborate effectively with blasting and mining teams to achieve operational objectives. Minimum Qualifications and Experience Grade 12 School Certificate or equivalent qualification.

Valid Zambian Driver’s Licence, preferably of heavy-duty or appropriate vehicle class. At least two years of experience as an MMU Operator or in a similar role within mining operations.

Possession of a valid Blasting Licence. Proven experience working with mining bulk explosives and related processes.

Good mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic equipment inspections and maintenance. Willingness and ability to work shifts and operate in remote mining environments.
