About the Medical Doctor Position As a Medical Doctor at Medpoint Clinic, you will provide comprehensive medical consultations, diagnoses, and treatment for patients of all ages. You will be responsible for managing both outpatient and inpatient care, ensuring high standards of clinical excellence.

This full-time role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated and effective healthcare services. Key Responsibilities for Medical Doctor Jobs in Kitwe Conduct thorough medical consultations, diagnoses, and manage outpatient and inpatient care.

Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests, including laboratory investigations and imaging. Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans and clinical management protocols.

Work closely with nursing, laboratory, pharmacy, and allied health professionals to ensure seamless patient care. Maintain accurate and confidential medical records, both electronic and physical, in line with clinical standards.

Participate in emergency triage, clinical audits, and community health outreach initiatives as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements Education:

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) or equivalent medical degree from a recognised institution.

Internship and Registration:

• Completion of the mandatory medical internship is required.

Licensing:

• Valid, full practising registration and current practising licence with the Health Professions Council of Zambia (HPCZ) must be held.

Experience:

• Previous clinical experience in a busy hospital or clinic setting is advantageous.

Skills:

• Strong clinical decision-making abilities, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
