- Provide administrative support to the Labour Relations Manager with disciplinary and employee relations matters.
- Prepare and issue disciplinary documentation, including notices of inquiry, charge sheets, and outcome letters.
- Schedule disciplinary hearings and coordinate venues, attendees, and required documentation.
- Maintain accurate disciplinary records, case registers, and confidential employee files.
- Track disciplinary cases to ensure deadlines and procedures are followed.
- Assist with conducting and chairing disciplinary enquiries.
- Support preliminary investigations into allegations of employee misconduct.
- Gather witness statements, collect supporting evidence, and prepare investigation summaries.
- Assist in compiling investigation reports for management review.
- Liaise with line managers, employee representatives, and witnesses regarding hearing logistics.
- Promote the consistent application of disciplinary procedures and company policies across the business.
- Ensure confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive employee information.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Computer literate with good Microsoft Office skills.
- Previous experience in Labour Relations or an HR-focused role would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of South African labour legislation will be advantageous.
