Junior Quantity Surveyor

Overview

Our client in the construction industry is looking to hire an experienced and qualified Junior Quantity Surveyor to assist project managers in managing construction costs, preparing estimates, and measuring on-site works.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and Bills of Quantities for civil and residential projects.
2. Measure and verify completed works on-site to assist in preparing interim payment certificates
3. Help monitor project expenses, track material consumption, and generate routine cost and variation reports
4. Support senior staff with tender document preparation, bid analysis, and maintaining auditable project records
5. Assist in liaising with contractors, suppliers, and project teams regarding material costs and scope variations.

Qualifications

· A Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering.
· At least 3 years hands on experience
· Ability to prepare accurate cost estimates , budgets and bills of quantities for Civil and Residential projects .
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, basic digital reporting tools, and the ability to accurately interpret architectural and engineering designs
