About the role

QCE is looking for an organised, detail-conscious Junior Operations Assistant to support our Operations Manager. This is a full-time, entry-level trainee role focused on two core areas: coordinating service call-outs and job cards, and tracking procurement and imports. No prior industry experience is required — full training is provided.

Key responsibilities

●      Log and track service call-outs and job cards daily, and follow up with technicians

●      Enter completed job card data into QCE systems (including the On Key Portal)

●      Request supplier pricing and draft purchase orders for approval

●      Track procurement and imports, following up with suppliers and transporters

●      Check deliveries against invoices/packing lists and keep documentation filed

●      Provide general administrative support to the Operations Manager

What we're looking for

●      Grade 12 certificate or equivalent (a business admin diploma is a plus, not required)

●      Comfortable with Microsoft Excel, email, and WhatsApp for work communication

●      Clear written English

●      Organised, detail-conscious, and trustworthy with money and information

●      Able to work Monday–Friday full days and Saturday mornings (08:00–12:00)

●      Desirable: some office/admin experience, and an interest in operations or logistics
