ICT Officer – Operations HQ

Job description

Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) is inviting applications for the position of ICT Officer – Operations HQ, Salary Grade ZRA06 (1 position), Information and Communication Technology Function.

Purpose
Reporting to the Senior ICT Officer – Operations, the job holder will support the ZRA business through professional ICT end-user support and ICT services.

Key Duties
– Track, update and close assigned incidences within agreed time periods.
– Ensure users make full use of available ICT end-user desktop application features.
– Ensure proper usage of ICT end-user systems.
– Conduct and implement ICT training for users.
– Ensure ICT software, hardware assets and accessories are properly accounted for and managed.
– Create, maintain and enforce ICT end-user standards, documentation, procedures and manuals.
– Safely store ICT information media at appropriate locations.
– Perform repairs and routine maintenance on ICT end-user equipment.
– Research ICT end-user systems trends and recommend direction to ICT management.

Minimum Requirements
– Grade 12 School Certificate or GCE with five credits or better including Mathematics and English.
– Minimum Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent.
– At least two years relevant post-qualifying experience in ICT.
– Valid membership of ICTAZ or another relevant professional body.
