ICT Officer – Electronic Systems

Job description

Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) is inviting applications for the position of ICT Officer – Electronic Systems, Salary Grade ZRA06 (1 position), Information and Communication Technology Function.

Purpose
Reporting to the Senior ICT Officer – Communications Electronic Systems, the job holder will support the ZRA business through timely, cost-effective and professional ICT communication services.

Key Duties
– Ensure electronic systems equipment such as CCTV, DVHF, EQMS and Access Control systems are functioning properly.
– Repair electronic systems equipment and accessories.
– Supervise administration of logging systems for CCTV, DVHF, EQMS and Access Control systems.
– Ensure effective use of equipment accessories, service manuals, tools and spares.
– Follow up with service providers on system faults.
– Conduct routine maintenance on electronic systems equipment.
– Conduct service level review meetings with vendors.
– Carry out research on ICT voice communications trends and advise ICT management.

Minimum Requirements
– Grade 12 School Certificate or GCE with five credits or better including Mathematics and English.
– Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunications, Information Technology or equivalent.
– At least two years relevant post-qualifying work experience in ICT.
– Valid membership of ICTAZ or another relevant professional body.
