Position Overview – HVAC Technician Assistant Jobs in Lusaka As an HVAC Technician Assistant at Hazida Limited, you will support the installation, servicing, troubleshooting, and repair of various air conditioning systems across residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

You will be involved in working with split units, cassette units, ducted systems, package units, and advanced VRF/VRV systems. Your role will also include preventive and corrective maintenance, system testing and commissioning, fault diagnosis, and interpreting HVAC drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, and industrial environments. Handle installation of split units, cassette units, ducted systems, package units, and VRF/VRV systems.

Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal system performance. Perform system testing, commissioning, and accurate fault diagnosis.

Interpret HVAC technical drawings and specifications to guide installation and repairs. Adhere strictly to company quality standards and safety procedures.

Prepare and complete detailed service reports and job documentation. Candidate Requirements Possess a Craft Certificate or Diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, or an equivalent qualification.

Have 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in HVAC installation and maintenance. Demonstrate strong knowledge of electrical and refrigeration fault finding techniques.

Experience with VRF systems is a distinct advantage. Holding a valid driver’s licence is beneficial.
