At Maradiva Villas Resort & Spa, we are committed to delivering exceptional luxury experiences through excellence, teamwork, and attention to detail. We are looking for a dedicated and organized Head Storekeeper to join our Finance team.

Key Responsibilities

As the Head Storekeeper, you will be responsible for:

  • Receiving and verifying all goods against approved Purchase Orders and supplier invoices.

  • Inspecting and organizing products in the appropriate storage areas.

  • Ensuring fresh products are checked by the Chef or designated Kitchen personnel.

  • Monitoring inventory levels to support daily hotel operations.

  • Preparing Purchase Requisitions for stock replenishment.

  • Conducting monthly inventory counts and weekly spot checks.

  • Monitoring expiry dates and coordinating with the Kitchen and Food & Beverage departments.

  • Processing returns and preparing Credit Notes for suppliers.

  • Recording all receipts and issues accurately in the inventory management system (SCM).

  • Forwarding supplier invoices with supporting Purchase Orders to Accounts Payable.

  • Issuing stock only against approved Store Requisition Forms.

  • Maintaining proper storage conditions, including temperature control and stock rotation (FIFO).

  • Ensuring cleanliness, orderliness, and security of all storage areas.

Requirements

  • SC/HSC or equivalent qualification.

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar position, preferably in the hospitality industry.

  • Strong organizational and planning skills.

  • Good knowledge of inventory and stock control procedures.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and inventory management systems.

  • Knowledge of products, suppliers, import regulations, and commercial practices.

  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently while maintaining excellent teamwork and communication.
