Role Summary for Head Legal Jobs in Lusaka Reporting directly to the Group CEO and Board, the successful candidate will lead the Group’s legal function, provide conveyancing expertise, and manage company secretarial responsibilities.
This multifaceted role ensures legal compliance, effective governance, and supports the Board with timely and practical legal advice aligned to commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities Group Legal Leadership:
Direct legal advisory services across entities, oversee contract drafting, review, and negotiation, lead legal risk assessments, manage external counsel engagements, and ensure legal advice supports commercial priorities.
Conveyancing and Property Transactions:
Prepare and review conveyancing documents for land, leases, and transfers; coordinate transaction timelines and due diligence; ensure legal soundness of property documentation; liaise with stakeholders including surveyors and external advocates.
Company Secretarial and Compliance:
