Graduate Trainee Accountant

The successful candidate will join a structured 12-month graduate development programme within the Finance Department, gaining hands-on exposure to financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting and payroll support functions.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
Support bank, supplier and general ledger reconciliations.
Assist with budget preparation, variance analysis and expenditure tracking.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and filing systems.
Assist with the processing of invoices, payments and petty cash management.
Provide support during internal and external audits.
Carry out any other duties assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

A recent graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Economics or a related field, with a minimum of a 2.1 classification.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
High level of integrity, accuracy, attention to detail, and good communication skills.
