Available Positions Supervisors – Cleaning, Gardening & General Works General Workers – Cleaners General Workers – Gardening & Grounds Maintenance Supervisor Roles in General Workers and Supervisors Jobs in Chilenje South Lusaka Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate general workers in cleaning, gardening, and general maintenance tasks.
• Assign daily duties and ensure timely, high-quality completion of work.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, and productivity of team members.
• Provide clear guidance and enforce workplace standards and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate work records and report regularly to management.
• Identify and escalate operational or safety concerns appropriately.
• Ensure proper care and use of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent; certificate in General Hospitality is preferred.
• Ability to read and write effectively.
• Relevant qualifications in hospitality, housekeeping, or domestic management are advantageous.
• At least 4 years’ supervisory experience in cleaning, gardening, or grounds maintenance.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license, police clearance certificate, and medical report.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime.

General Workers – Cleaners Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness of offices, residential, commercial, and institutional facilities.
• Sweep, mop, dust, and clean washrooms and assigned areas according to hygiene standards.
• Handle cleaning materials and equipment safely and responsibly.
• Adhere to workplace health and safety procedures consistently.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.
• Ability to read and write.
• Housekeeping certificate is an added advantage.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant cleaning experience.
• Physically fit with good hygiene, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Availability for day and night shifts, weekends, and overtime as required.

General Workers – Gardening & Grounds Maintenance Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain gardens, lawns, and grounds by cutting grass, trimming bushes, and removing waste.
• Assist with planting, watering, and landscaping activities.
• Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
• Keep assigned areas clean and visually appealing.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.
• Ability to read and write.
• Certificate in landscaping is advantageous.
• At least 2 years’ experience in gardening or grounds maintenance.
• Physically capable of working outdoors for extended periods.
• Good work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and overtime.
