Job Description
Musasa is a women’s rights organization founded in 1988. The vision of the organization is to see a society in which women and girls are free from violence in all its manifestations and are able to fully participate in development at all levels. Musasa is implement ing the CHOICE project, which aims to improve knowledge and attitudes in support of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) among women, girls, adolescents, and persons with disabilities, as well as to increase bodily autonomy, agency, and the enjoyment of SRHR for those experiencing poverty, marginalization, and vulnerability in targeted districts of Zimbabwe. The organisation hereby invites suitable candidates to apply for the following posts of Field Officer that have arisen.
Duties and Responsibilities
Engage in day-to-day interaction with survivors of Gender-Based Violence, follow up on cases and conduct individual and group dialogues in communities.
Support the Project Officer in the development and implementation of the respective project.
Coordinate with partners and stakeholders in the GBV referral pathway and attend district meetings.
Conduct community engagement activities in the district, including outreach activities that raise awareness of available GBV response services
Disseminate information to surrounding communities about the available services.
Attending to other project matters that may arise during the period of implementation
Participate in report writing and project documentation outreach activities that raise awareness of available GBV response services.

Qualifications and Experience
Diploma in Counselling/Degree in Social Work, or any related social science degree. An additional qualification in Development Studies
would be an added advantage.
At least 1-year experience in a similar role.
Ability to use Microsoft Office.
Ability to quickly understand and absorb new topics, issues, and disciplines.
Ability to work well with partners and stakeholders.
Registered with the relevant boards.
Proficiency in the local languages of the target districts and residency within the district is highly desired.
