About the Environmental Projects Internship in Lusaka The Environmental & Projects Intern will work closely with our team in Lusaka, Zambia, supporting various aspects of environmental management and project execution.

This internship is ideal for recent graduates or diploma holders in environmental disciplines seeking to enhance their professional capabilities through real-world application. Key Responsibilities Assist in preparing environmental compliance documentation and permit applications, including submissions to regulatory bodies such as ZEMA and ERB.

Support site visits by collecting field data and conducting basic environmental monitoring activities. Prepare clear and concise reports, briefs, and presentation materials to support project objectives.

Engage with stakeholders and assist in community engagement initiatives to foster collaborative relationships. Provide general administrative and project support to ensure smooth operational workflows within the team.

Qualifications and Skills Degree or Diploma in Environmental Engineering, Natural Resources Management, or a related field. Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey technical information.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with GIS software such as QGIS or ArcGIS is an advantage.

Possession of a valid driver’s license is beneficial. Occupational Health and Safety certification will be considered a plus.
