Driver

NTEMBA24 is seeking a responsible, disciplined, and reliable Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of company staff, products, documents, and other materials as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport company products, staff, documents, and other materials as assigned.
• Ensure timely collection and delivery of goods between stores, warehouses, suppliers, and other designated locations.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical faults or maintenance requirements promptly.
• Keep the assigned vehicle clean and in good working condition.
• Ensure compliance with all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies.
• Report accidents, damages, traffic incidents, or vehicle breakdowns immediately to management.
• Safeguard company property and ensure the secure transportation of company goods.

Requirements

• Valid Zambian driver’s licence Class C
• Minimum of 2 years’ proven driving experience.
• Good knowledge of Lusaka roads and surrounding areas.
• Clean driving record and strong understanding of road safety regulations.
• Ability to conduct basic vehicle checks and identify mechanical problems.
• Honest, responsible, disciplined, and reliable.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Experience in retail distribution, deliveries, or logistics will be an added advantage.
