Minimum Qualifications:
Grade 12 (Matric)
Qualified Diesel Mechanic (Red Seal Trade Test)
Valid driver's licence (Code B or higher)
Must have:
- 5 Years POST Trade Experience
- Strong Volvo and CAT Machine Experience
- Fluent Afrikaans/English
Minimum Experience:
5 years' experience as a qualified Diesel Mechanic
Previous field service experience on mining, construction, or earthmoving equipment Experience.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics
- Experience with OEM diagnostic software is advantageous
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Other Requirements:Medically fit to work on mining and construction sites
Safety-conscious with knowledge of site safety procedures
