Data Analyst
Applications are invited for the DATA ANALYST position that has arisen within Baker’s INN Retail -Northern Region, Harare. The successful candidate will support data-driven decision-making by analyzing sales, profitability, inventory, and operational performance across the retail business.

Job Responsibilities:
The candidate will be required to take full charge of all key responsibilities that include but are not limited to the following:

Consolidate, analyse, and report daily sales, turnover, and operational performance data.
Compile and reconcile daily, weekly, and manthly sales, stock, and gross profit reports.
Maintain and update raw material, costing, pricing, and recipe databases.
Verify supplier invoices against GRVs and system records to ensure data accuracy.
Conduct cash and stock spot checks and investigate variances.
Develop and maintain analytical reports and dashboards to support business decisions.
Support data quality initiatives, process improvements, and system implementation projects.
Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timely availability of business data.

Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate should be in possession of the following minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics and Operations Research, Data Analysis, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
Minimum of 1 year’s experience as a Data Analyst or Statistician within the FMCG industry.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including INDEX & MATCH, XLOOKUP, OFFSET, and SUMIFS
Experience using Power Query for data cleaning and transformation.
Proficiency in at least one data visualization tool such as Power Bl.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report writing skills with excellent attention to detail.
